Let’s Help Texans is dedicated to transforming unused spaces into thriving gardens, restoring Texas’ natural ecosystems, and preventing flooding through native plants and sustainable practices. Our mission is to feed communities, improve soil health, and empower Texans to create lasting change. Together, we’re building a greener, stronger future for everyone
Our garden design incorporates rain gardens, bioswales, and native plant zones that reduce water runoff, stabilize soil, and prevent erosion.
The site will feature hands-on learning zones where participants can gain skills in sustainable gardening, conservation, and flood prevention techniques.
Over 5 acres, we’ll provide space for 120+ raised garden beds, shared crops, and two greenhouses for year-round food production. Produce will be distributed to local families and food banks.
Native plants like switchgrass, little bluestem, and black-eyed Susans will restore biodiversity, support pollinators, and create wildlife-friendly spaces.
When problems arise, we don’t complain and let them get worse. We come together as a team, take small steps, and move in the right direction. Every plant restored, every yard transformed, and every garden built is progress toward a better future for all Texans.
Flooding is a problem every Texan knows we face, and stopping it is at the core of our mission. This is about protecting our land, growing gardens that feed our communities, and showing that working together makes Texas stronger.
By taking action, focusing on solutions, and helping one another, we can create a stronger, more resilient Texas for generations to come. Together, we can make it happen.
Collaborates with local governments, environmental NGOs, academic institutions, and corporate sponsors.
Each project showcases the impact of small, thoughtful steps toward solving Texas-sized problems. From transforming flood-prone areas into thriving ecosystems to creating sustainable food gardens that feed families, these efforts demonstrate the power of coming together to create meaningful change.
