We’re turning Texas lawns into food-filled gardens that provide fresh produce for families and neighbors. By reimagining yards as spaces for nourishment and connection, we’re cultivating a movement where everyone can grow and share food.

By creating rain gardens with native plants like Switchgrass and Bald Cypress, replacing traditional grass with Frogfruit or Buffalograss, and planting edible gardens filled with herbs, vegetables, and fruit trees like figs or pecans, we restore purpose to the land. Pollinator-friendly natives like Black-Eyed Susan and Texas Sage enrich soil and sustain vibrant ecosystems.

We collaborate with schools, libraries, and neighborhoods to establish gardening programs that bring communities closer. These spaces grow fresh food, teach the value of soil health and flood prevention, and create a shared sense of purpose. By providing tools and funding, we empower local leaders to sustain these programs and inspire lasting change.

This 5-acre project builds gardens, restores ecosystems, and provides fresh food while offering hands-on learning to tackle flooding and foster sustainability.
The 5-Acre Food Forest is a flood-resilient ecosystem that restores habitats, prevents runoff, and provides sustainable food for the community.
The 100-Yard Riparian Restoration revives riverbanks with native plants to reduce flooding, improve water quality, and restore habitats.
Each project showcases the impact of small, thoughtful steps toward solving Texas-sized problems. From transforming flood-prone areas into thriving ecosystems to creating sustainable food gardens that feed families, these efforts demonstrate the power of coming together to create meaningful change.
A small pocket park transforms compact, unused spaces into peaceful community retreats with native plants, walking paths, and seating areas.
